Impact Development Coaching
So you’ve put a lot of time into personal development but for some reason it hasn’t made much of a difference. Why? Because your impact with people is still the same. Just because you change your relationship with yourself doesn’t mean how you relate with others is any different. And in some cases that is the only difference that matters. You need to work on your impact.

Impact Development Coaching is roughly a three month process that uses Hogan Assessments, the Gold Standard in personality performance assessments, along with coaching sessions to define, plan, and implement a strategy for you to improve your impact with others. There are 4 phases to this process.
Phase One – Awareness
In the first phase of development it’s important to get a clear picture of how you are as person. Only by knowing where you are starting can we create a clear path to where you want to be. Using cutting edge assessment analysis and personal interviews we begin to form an idea of the things that make you great and the things that might be causing friction. This is the most invasive part of the process, and can be the hardest to absorb because it shines a light on what you and others might consider flaws. But if you are ever going to make improvements on these, you have to first know what they are. This phase focuses on learning how others perceive you, because the path of self-awareness is closing the gap between how you see yourself and how others see you. For some, facing these realities is the hardest part of this process.
Phase Two – Planning
Using the information from the awareness phase, I help you decide on 2-3 changes you would like to make and clear actions to create those changes. You will also set up some accountability partners to be paying attention to your desired changes.
Phase 3 – Coaching
Now is when the work happens, because the process of change is the hardest work you will ever do. This isn’t about changing your personality so much as leveraging your personality so that you can overcome whatever is hindering your impact. We look at the major areas of decision making and what is causing the problems learned in Phase 1. Then we create strategies to overcome those problems.
Phase 4 – Appraisal
If you really want to know if all of your hard work has been worth it, you have to go to the source. How are people seeing you now? Has there been any change? And if so, to what degree? These are the types of questions we ask as we take an appraisal of where you are in the development process.
